Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Construction Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including unloading materials and organizing tools
- Perform heavy lifting and manual labor tasks such as moving materials, equipment, and supplies efficiently and safely
- Support concrete pouring, mixing, cutting, finishing, and formwork construction to ensure precise application according to project specifications
- Install rebar (reinforcing steel bars) for concrete structures and assist with metal stud framing and masonry work
- Operate power tools, hand tools, and heavy equipment safely in accordance with construction workplace safety regulations
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and construction plans to execute tasks accurately
- Aid in the installation of flooring, tile laying, stucco application, plastering, caulking, trim carpentry, roofing, and restoration projects as needed
- We are looking for someone who specializes in wood or metal framing.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to construction tools and equipment operation
- Experience with construction estimating and interpreting blueprint specifications
- Proficiency in concrete forming, concrete finishing, concrete pumping, and concrete cutting techniques
- Knowledge of heavy equipment operation and commercial driving for material transport when required
- Familiarity with construction workplace safety regulations to maintain a safe environment for all team members
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately for proper execution of tasks
- Skilled in various trades including carpentry (frame carpentry, trim carpentry), masonry, welding, roofing, and metal stud framing.
