Duties
- Perform oil changes quickly and accurately using hand tools, power tools, and automotive fluid replacement techniques.
- Conduct vehicle inspections to identify additional maintenance needs
- Use mechanical knowledge to replace filters, fluids, and perform routine maintenance tasks in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety protocols are followed during all service procedures.
- Communicate effectively with customers about their vehicle’s condition and recommend additional services when appropriate.
- Support the team with heavy lifting tasks and other maintenance duties to ensure efficient workflow.
Requirements
- Prior dealership or automotive service experience is highly preferred; hands-on mechanic experience is a strong plus. But not required.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment.
- Excellent customer service skills to engage positively with clients and explain services clearly.
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; sales or upselling experience is a bonus for promoting additional services.
