Part-Time Project Cost Accountant — Karpatia Trucks, Middlebury, IN
Karpatia Trucks builds custom food trucks and mobile retail units in Middlebury
Our current bookkeeper is great! But part-time, and we've grown - and need more hands. ~15–20 hours/week.
Task examples:
- Project cost reconciliation: Xero vs. spreadsheets
- Reconcile shop labor logs against payroll hours per project
- Verify subcontractor and vendor payments against invoices and the correct project codes
- Maintain and improve the tracker templates
- And some AR/AP work like chase payments, send invoices
What we need:
- Job/project cost accounting experience: RV, construction, manufacturing, custom fabrication, or trades strongly preferred
- Comfortable in Xero and Google Sheets
- On-site in Middlebury roughly two half days/week;
- Flexible hours, can be outside of both 9-5 office or 5AM-1PM shop schedule.
- Rest flexible, can be WFH or we can comp a co-working space seat if you don't have a suitable home office.
Hourly rate range based on experience and profile.
Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
