Summary:
Poage Chevrolet Collision Center is expanding and seeks an experienced collision repair technician. Must have at least 5 years of body shop experience and be detail-oriented, maintaining high productivity and quality standards.
Compensation:
- Journeyman Union Scale & Benefits

- Flat rate pay with a 40-hour/week guarantee
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform auto body repair according to factory specs
- Remove/replace sheet metal, glass, and cosmetic parts
- Straighten/repair damaged panels (unibody and frame work)
- Apply filler and sand to match contours
- Reassemble after paint, align headlights, etc.
- Work closely with appraisers regarding supplements
- Ensure accuracy of parts before starting repairs
- Maintain a safe, clean shop
- Provide your own tools
- Complete work within set cycle time goals
Experience / Skill Requirements:
- 5+ years in automotive collision repair or equivalent training
- I-CAR training a plus; ASE certification a plus
- New shop upgrades: new booth, welders, measuring system, racks
Occupational Qualifications:
- Lift up to 80 lbs, frequent bending, reaching, squatting
- Must have a valid driver's license
