We are seeking a VP, People to design and lead a comprehensive global talent strategy that strengthens leadership capability, accelerates employee development, and builds organizational readiness for future growth. This newly created role will establish and scale enterprise-wide talent programs spanning performance management, succession planning, leadership development, talent reviews, and learning & development.
The VP will partner closely with executive leadership, HR Business Partners, and business leaders to ensure talent strategies align with organizational priorities, workforce planning needs, and long-term growth objectives. This role combines strategic design with hands-on execution and will play a critical role in building a consistent global approach to developing and retaining top talent.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a global talent management strategy aligned with organizational goals and workforce planning priorities

Establish scalable frameworks for performance, development, and leadership readiness across jurisdictions and business units

Partner with People colleagues and business leadership to align talent initiatives with organizational growth, succession risk, and capability needs

Drive consistency in talent practices while allowing flexibility for regional and business-specific requirements
- Lead the design and execution of global performance management programs, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and continuous feedback practices

Evolve performance processes to support a high-performance, growth-oriented culture

Design and facilitate global talent review and 9-box calibration processes to assess performance and potential

Provide leaders with tools and guidance to support meaningful performance conversations and development planning
- Design and oversee enterprise succession planning frameworks for critical roles and leadership pipelines

Partner with the team to identify and develop high-potential talent globally

Build structured development pathways to strengthen internal mobility and leadership readiness
- Establish and lead the organization’s global learning and development strategy

Design programs spanning onboarding, leadership development, manager effectiveness, and professional skills training

Drive a continuous learning culture through blended learning approaches, including digital learning platforms, in-person workshops, coaching, and mentorship programs
- Support organizational transformation and change initiatives through targeted development solutions

Align development initiatives with culture and leadership expectations
- Define and track key metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of talent and learning programs (e.g., engagement, retention, promotion readiness, leadership pipeline strength, learning outcomes)

Utilize data and insights to continuously refine talent strategies and programs

Build reporting frameworks that provide leadership visibility into organizational capability and talent health
- 6+ years of experience in Talent Management, Organizational Development, Learning & Development, or related HR leadership roles

Demonstrated experience designing and leading global talent or leadership development programs

Experience managing performance management and talent review processes at scale

Strong facilitation and executive stakeholder partnership skills

Ability to translate business strategy into practical talent and development solutions
