Job Summary:
The Job Coach provides hands-on training and support to clients in the Pak Mail Work Adjustment Training (WAT) program, helping them build technical and professional skills for employment. This includes coaching in job tasks, workplace behavior, and soft skills such as communication, time management, and problem-solving. The role promotes a positive, culturally sensitive, trauma-informed environment and models professional standards. This is an onsite, client-facing position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver job coaching in both technical (e.g., packaging, shipping/receiving, POS use, logistics) and soft skills (e.g., communication, customer service, organization)
- Provide hands-on instruction in Pak Mail operations, including customer service and retail tasks
- Reinforce workplace safety practices and ensure compliance with OSHA and agency procedures, ensure safe use of equipment and worksite tools
- Support daily operations, including covering client duties when absent
- Monitor inventory and communicate supply needs to management
- Coach clients in professional customer interactions and problem resolution
- Complete timely documentation (progress notes, reports, timesheets, incident reports)
- Attend client and staff meetings; report incidents within 24 hours
- Maintain strict confidentiality of client and customer information in compliance with HIPAA, DRM, and federal copyright regulations
- Track hours and attendance accurately and support overall worksite operations

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer systems
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associate’s degree, relevant certification, or at least 1 year of behavioral health experience
Requirements:
- Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and obtain fingerprint clearance
- CPR/First Aid certification (or obtain upon hire)
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
