Overview
Our team is adding an evening only crew, with guaranteed overtime pay. Base pay of $20/hr will mean you are earning $30/hr your entire shift.
Monday - Friday, the beginning of your day will start with meeting at our warehouse location around 3pm, with end of work day ranging from 8pm to 12a. Weekends are voluntary sign-up.
As an office furniture installer, you will be responsible for transforming office environments by installing a wide variety of furniture pieces with precision and care. Your hands-on skills will ensure that each project is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Carefully unpack, assemble, and install office furniture according to provided specifications and safety guidelines
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively to secure furniture components, ensuring stability and durability
- Read and interpret installation diagrams, blueprints, and technical instructions for accurate setup
- Conduct thorough inspections of installed furniture to verify proper alignment, stability, and finish quality
- Collaborate with team members and project managers to meet installation deadlines while maintaining safety standards
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace during and after installations to promote safety and efficiency
Qualifications
- Experience in furniture assembly or related hands-on installation work is welcome but not required
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and quality control
- Physical stamina to lift heavy furniture pieces repeatedly and work in various positions (standing, kneeling, bending) throughout the day
- Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and clients
- A proactive attitude with a commitment to safety protocols at all times
