The Executive Director, Talent Acquisition Transformation & Strategic Programs provides executive leadership for enterprise-wide Talent Acquisition transformation at IU Health. This role is responsible for leading large-scale remediation efforts, modernizing operations, and implementing innovative workforce strategies that position the organization for long-term success. Serving as a key partner to senior leaders across HR, Compliance, and Operations, this individual will drive initiatives that enhance Talent Acquisition effectiveness, strengthen governance and audit readiness, and build scalable models to support evolving workforce demands.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead enterprise Talent Acquisition transformation initiatives, including large-scale remediation efforts and operational modernization

Stabilize and redesign TA operations through standardized processes, enterprise controls, and scalable operating models

Establish and sustain governance frameworks that ensure consistency, compliance, and long-term operational discipline

Partner cross-functionally with HR, Compliance, Operations, and executive leadership to drive enterprise-wide performance improvement

Enhance Talent Acquisition effectiveness, audit readiness, workforce scalability, and overall operational outcomes

Design and implement strategic, enterprise-level talent programs aligned with long-term organizational priorities

Develop workforce pipeline strategies, including academic partnerships, internships, and fellowship programs

Build and scale shared services models and other innovative talent solutions to support future workforce needs

Provide centralized oversight and ensure disciplined, scalable execution of transformation and strategic initiatives

Complement existing Talent Acquisition leadership by advancing enterprise-wide alignment and continuous improvement
Reports to: Vice President - Talent Acquisition

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, Organizational Leadership, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is required. Master's Degree is preferred.

Requires 10 plus years of relevant experience and 8 years of people leader experience.

Requires progressive Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Workforce Strategy, or Organizational Transformation experience and leadership experience with responsibility for leading large-scale organizational initiatives, operational improvement efforts, transformation programs, or enterprise workforce strategies.

Requires demonstrated experience leading complex transformation, remediation, change management, process redesign, or operational excellence initiatives within large organizations.

Requires experience developing and implementing governance frameworks, operational controls, compliance standards, and sustainable process improvement programs.

Requires experience designing, launching, and scaling enterprise talent initiatives, workforce programs, or strategic organizational initiatives aligned to business objectives.

Requires experience operating within a highly matrixed organization and collaborating effectively across multiple business functions, leadership levels, and stakeholder groups.

Requires experience leading teams through organizational change while building cultures of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

Requires a demonstrated ability to build executive partnerships and influence senior leaders across Human Resources, Compliance, Legal, Operations, Finance, and executive leadership teams.

Requires strong analytical capabilities with experience leveraging workforce, operational, recruiting, and performance data to drive strategic outcomes.

Requires working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), workforce technologies, reporting tools, and process automation capabilities.

Healthcare industry experience is preferred.
