Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in home setting environments, contributing to the overall health and well-being of disabled clients. Traveling from home to home you will have the opportunity to make your own schedule, enhance your skills and grow professionally while making a significant impact on patient lives.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate health status and develop individualized care plans.
- Monitor and manage patients' conditions, including ventilatory support when necessary.
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care effectively.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families/house staff regarding treatment plans and health management.
- Participate in memory care initiatives for patients with cognitive impairments.
- Ensure a safe environment for patients by following established protocols and procedures.
Experience
- Current RN license in good standing.
- Familiarity with medical office procedures and documentation practices is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to patient confidentiality.
- Medication management.
- Staff education within the homes.
- Previous experience in patient assessment, IV infusion, and ventilatory management is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
- Experience in computer charting.
- Experience working with intellectually disabled clients is preferred but not required.
