Hours: 35 per week
Assignment Dates: 08/2026 – 06/2027 (tentative; follows school calendar)
Caseload: These teachers would serve in a geographic area in either Carbon or Lehigh counties to cover absences. In the event that they do not have a site to sub for, they would be assigned to one of the IU's many classrooms for that day. In the event that they have a leave or a vacation to cover, they may be asked to cover a site for an extended amount of time.

Active PA license
Active PA PDE Certification
Experience working with students in special education settings
Experience participating in IEP development and implementation Locations: 2 needed in Carbon County and 2 needed in Lehigh County
