The Residential Shift Supervisor is responsible for the oversight of residential shifts. The Residential Shift Supervisor works closely with the Director of Residential Services to coordinate staff schedules, provide real-time direction, guidance, and training of Behavioral Health Technicians.
Performance Standards:
- Work a multitude of different shifts to provide supervision, guidance, and feedback.
- Work with the Director of Residential Services to coordinate and develop ongoing training for staff.
- Assist with the preparation of staff schedules and monitoring of staff attendance.
- Maintain the physical condition of facilities in your area of responsibility.

Assist the Director of Residential Services with providing leadership and direction to Behavioral Health Technicians through supervision sessions, and by providing real time feedback and guidance.
- Oversee the implementation of youth programming and daily activities as developed and written.
- Ensure the department’s compliance with regulatory and accrediting bodies

Ensure that service delivery is performed according to the corporation’s mission, policies and procedures, and service philosophy.

Successful completion of Cornell’s Therapeutic Crisis Intervention training.

Help guide and support Behavioral Health Technicians by enhancing their ability to perform their job responsibilities by teaching and modeling technical knowledge and skills, work management and communication skills, and conflict management.

High School Diploma or GED and 1 year of experience in a related field
