Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our dedicated team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced, specialized environment, utilizing your expertise across various clinical settings. The APP will collaborate closely with physician to ensure the highest standards of pediatric urological care.
Schedule
This is a part-time position. Tuesday/Thursday 8am - 4:30pm.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including history-taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations tailored for pediatric patients.
- Manage a diverse caseload involving outpatient visits, inpatient consultations, and follow-up care for children with urological conditions.
- Perform procedures including catheterizations, suturing, surgical procedures in the office setting while adhering to sterile techniques.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient encounters and medical records.
Requirements
- Valid licensure as an Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) with current certification.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT coding, ICD coding (ICD-10/ICD-9), and healthcare compliance standards including HIPAA.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with physician, other APN's , nursing staff, and other office staff.
