Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Handle cash transactions accurately, process sales through POS systems, and manage cash handling responsibilities
- Maintain food safety standards by adhering to sanitation protocols and proper food handling procedures
- Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to ensure smooth operations
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or high-volume settings
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for reservations management
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that creates a welcoming atmosphere
- Ability to multitask effectively with strong time management skills in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and food industry trends to assist with upselling opportunities
- Basic math skills for cashiering, sales transaction processing, and accurate bill splitting
- Experience with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
