Build high-quality switchboards, panelboards, and related electrical assemblies.

Ensure accuracy, quality, and safety while following engineering specifications and work instructions.

Ideal for candidates with experience reading blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings.

Assemble and wire electrical components according to blueprints, schematics, and work orders.

Build switchboards, panelboards, copper bussing systems, and related electrical products.

Interpret front-view drawings, wiring diagrams, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and CAD-generated documentation.

Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and torque wrenches during assembly processes.

Inspect materials and completed assemblies for defects, damage, alignment, and spacing issues.

Identify missing, damaged, or non-conforming components and assist in resolving issues.

Follow all workplace safety procedures and wear required PPE, including safety shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection.

Monitor and communicate work progress, material shortages, and production concerns.

Utilize computer systems to access engineering drawings, work instructions, and production documentation.

Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance efficiency, quality, and workflow processes.

Experience in electrical or mechanical assembly within a manufacturing environment.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).

Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and torque wrenches.

Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy.

Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve assembly-related issues.

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.

Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Basic computer skills for accessing production and engineering documents.

Experience with switchgear, panelboards, switchboards, or other electrical distribution products.

Knowledge of manufacturing processes and assembly best practices.

Experience working with electrical wiring systems, circuits, and components.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hanover, MD.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
