Job Summary
We are seeking a self-motivated, energetic individual with fresh or perishable retail experience to join our team as a Seafood Merchandiser. The incumbent will have the ability to train and mentor our existing and new clients, will take direction from on-site lead/manager where you may guide in merchandising. Job responsibilities for each customer may vary.
The incumbent is required to travel daily to designated locations in surrounding area of Billings to work hands on to help maintain, train on setting proper displays, handling of our product and new programs. Hours can very and some weekends may be required.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while assisting them with their purchases. You will play a key role in maintaining the store's presentation and ensuring that our products are well-stocked and displayed. Job Description and Requirements:
- Management or Supervisor experience and knowledge of seafood handling, presentation, cooking, food safety laws and practices.
- Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced retail and business environment.
- Must be flexible and have the ability to travel and work various hours if needed.
- Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand for long hours at a time in a cold environment.
- Basic knowledge required with computer skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint programs.
- You will be required to email daily recaps on stores visited and accomplishments that were made.
- Training and management skills.
- Supermarket and retail experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills required.
- Hours can very and weekends are a possibility.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Good DMV record and ability to drive with no restrictions
- Must pass a background check.
- Regular on-site attendance is required
