TITLE: Dedicated Building Substitute (Full Time) - Multiple Openings at Rowe Elementary, 26-27 SY
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Portland Public Schools has two Dedicated Building Substitute openings available for the 26-27 school year at Rowe Elementary.
Assigned to a specific school for the entire year, the Dedicated Substitute is onsite daily and able to fill in as needed, assisting with daily classroom functions, implementing lesson plans, and monitoring and supporting students. At times, the Dedicated Substitute may be assigned to the same classroom for multiple days. The Dedicated Substitute plays an essential role in providing continuity and consistency for the students at their assigned school. This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity for those who are passionate about helping students reach their full potential.
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

EMPLOYMENT DETAILS:

Schedule: School Year, Full Time, 1.0 FTE (standard 7 hour day)

Wages: $28.99 per hour

Benefits: Eligible for $500 / month toward a PPS medical benefits plan, also eligible for Earned Paid Leave (EPL) as per Maine law
