Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sleep Study Technician to join our healthcare team on a part-time basis for night shifts. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in respiratory therapy, physiology, and sleep medicine, with a passion for patient care and diagnostic evaluation. As a Sleep Study Technician, you will be responsible for conducting sleep studies, monitoring patients throughout their sleep cycles, and ensuring accurate data collection to assist in diagnosing sleep disorders. This role offers an engaging opportunity to contribute to patient health outcomes in a dynamic clinical environment.
Responsibilities
- Monitor patients during overnight sleep studies
- Set up and maintain sleep study equipment
- Observe and document patient data throughout the night
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during testing
Skills
- Medical field experience is a plus, but not required
- Willingness to learn and follow established protocols
- Strong attention to detail and dependability
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work overnight shifts
