Responsibilities
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process retail sales transactions accurately and quickly
- Greet customers warmly, assist with product questions.
- Handle cash register operations, including cash handling, balancing cash drawers, and issuing receipts
- Maintain knowledge of store products and merchandising to upsell items and enhance customer purchases
- Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and ensure the checkout area is clean and inviting
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering and customer service is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems and cashiering procedures
- Strong basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Excellent communication skills and friendly phone etiquette
- Supervising experience is advantageous for leadership opportunities within the team
- Knowledge of retail store product details, merchandising techniques, and upselling strategies
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work flexible hours
