American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Psychiatric/Behavioral Health position at a 164-bed acute care hospital in Carmel Hamlet, NY, with a strong preference for geriatric experience and night shift availability.

Night shift position, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

164-bed acute care hospital setting

Behavioral health/psychiatric unit

Floating required between two med-surg floors

Geriatric patient population preferred

Active, unrestricted NY RN license required (a screenshot or photo of a completed application is acceptable if the license is pending)

Current AHA BLS certification required

Crisis Management Training Certification required, administered by CPI or Northwell
-
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required

PMH-BC (Board Certification in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing through ANCC) preferred

3+ years of RN experience preferred

Experience with geriatric patients strongly preferred

Two professional references from previous managers rated 'standard or above average' required for consideration

Only AHA-issued BLS certifications are accepted

Kronos used for timekeeping
