Quality Control Associate – First Shift (Full-Time)

As a fast-growing, family-owned company, we’re looking for a detail-obsessed Quality Control Associate to keep our products—and our reputation—spot-on.
What You’ll Do
- Inspect inbound merchandise for defects, accuracy, and presentation before it’s shelved
- Identify common home improvement and household products and verify components, completeness, and condition
- Document non-conformities, photograph issues, and enter corrective actions in our QC database
- Collaborate with the Pick/Pack/Ship team to resolve discrepancies in real time
- Assist with staging and moving product using pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment (training provided)
- Maintain a clean, organized, temperature-controlled inspection area and follow all safety guidelines
Schedule
Monday - Friday | 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
What You’ll Bring
- Eagle-eye attention to detail—nothing gets past you
- Practical knowledge of home improvement and household-related merchandise (tools, hardware, building materials, lawn & garden, seasonal goods, etc.)
- Comfort learning to safely operate pallet jacks and elevated lift equipment (man lifts)
- Ability to work at heights when necessary (with proper training)
- Role requires physical activities such as bending, reaching, lifting, and moving product regularly to perform job duties
- Familiarity with basic measurement tools, rolling ladders, and data entry (scanners, label printers, keyboarding)
- Prior quality control, retail receiving, or warehouse audit experience is a plus
- English proficiency for documentation and team communication
