Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift to facilitate the efficient movement of materials and products throughout the facility. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members.
Duties
- Operate forklifts
- Hand pulling orders with accurate fulfillment
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to OSHA safety standards.
- Assist in materials handling, including heavy lifting and moving products within the warehouse.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and efficiency in operations.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper mechanical functionality.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to management promptly.
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse distribution or similar roles
- Familiarity with operation of forklifts.
- Previous experience in a warehouse
- Knowledge of materials handling best practices and safety regulations (OSHA).
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by job duties.
- Experience with order picking processes
