Juiced Wheels is an all-e-bike sales, service, and rental store located in historic Frenchtown, Saint Charles, MO. We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Store Manager to lead our retail team and drive store success. We are looking to hire very quickly, so please include a few times you are available for an interview in your application (we are open Tuesday-Saturday).
In this critical role, you will oversee daily operations, manage staff, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain optimal inventory levels. Your leadership will inspire a motivated team, foster a positive shopping environment, and promote sales growth. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise all store activities, ensuring smooth daily operations and adherence to company policies.
- Recruit, interview, and onboard new employees while providing ongoing training and development to enhance team performance.
- Manage inventory control, purchasing, merchandising, and stock replenishment to maximize sales opportunities.
- Oversee cash handling, POS transactions, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and store financials with accuracy and integrity.
- Implement effective marketing strategies to attract customers and increase store traffic.
- Maintain high standards of customer service by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring a welcoming shopping experience.
- Supervise shift management, scheduling staff efficiently to meet business needs while optimizing labor costs.
- Utilize strong management skills to motivate your team, foster collaboration, and develop future leaders within the store.
Skills
- MUST BE COMFORTABLE WITH COMPUTERS AND TECHNOLOGY: we are a tech-heavy shop, and if you are not a computer person, you will not be a good fit.
- Proven management experience in retail environments with supervisory responsibilities.
- Excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence are critical to success.
- Strong negotiation skills for purchasing, pricing strategies, and vendor relations.
- Demonstrated proficiency in retail math, sales management, inventory control, and cash handling procedures.
- Ability to train employees on customer service excellence, POS systems, merchandising, and store policies.
- Skilled in employee orientation, interviewing techniques, recruiting strategies, and performance evaluations.
- Leadership qualities with experience supervising teams in fast-paced retail settings.
- Organizational skills with attention to detail in bookkeeping, payroll processing, budgeting, and administrative tasks.
- Knowledge of bike store operations is a plus but not required.

- Physical Demands: You must be able to lift and carry e-bikes and other equipment, which can be cumbersome and heavy. You will often have assistance from coworkers in the shop, but sometimes you may need to carry items alone. You must be able to climb steps, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, grasp, reach, twist, and crouch. The shop is in a (nice and finished) historic building from the late 1800s and is spread out across three floors. There are ramps to the bottom and middle floors but only stairs to the top employees-only level. You must be able to climb stairs regularly.
