Duties
- Prepare individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns with precision and attention to detail
- Review financial documents such as income statements, balance sheets, and receipts to gather necessary data for tax filings
- Utilize accounting software like QuickBooks, Sage, and other financial tools to organize client information effectively
- Conduct analysis of financial concepts to identify deductions, credits, and potential tax-saving opportunities
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations by staying current on tax laws and updates
- Assist clients with questions regarding their tax filings and provide clear explanations of complex tax concepts
- Support bookkeeping activities and maintain accurate records of all client transactions related to tax preparation
Skills
- Strong knowledge of tax return preparation for various entity types including partnerships and corporations
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, and other financial management tools
- Solid understanding of public accounting practices and corporate accounting principles
- Excellent analysis skills to interpret financial data accurately
- Experience with partnership tax expertise and technical accounting standards
- Ability to perform 10 key typing efficiently for data entry tasks
- Exceptional customer service skills combined with marketing abilities to promote our services effectively
- Familiarity with bookkeeping processes, financial sales strategies, and sales techniques in a professional setting
- Basic math skills essential for accurate calculations and analysis of financial data
