United Restaurant Supply is hiring for an Inside Sales Representative. We are looking for a high energy individual committed to serving our client base. This individual will be responsible for assisting our walk in clientele as they walk through our 9,000 sq. ft. showroom. This individual will make product suggestions, locate product, and ensure a seamless transaction. This position also works as sales support for our outside sale staff.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Communicate clearly, concisely, and promptly.
- Help customers find what they need within our showroom and guide them to the right product.
- Attend sales training to learn about existing and new products.
- Educate customers with informational materials or demonstrate product using samples etc. and emphasize salable features.
- Quote prices, explain credit terms, and enter customer orders.
- Work with outside sales representatives to maintain account activities including personal vacation coverage.
- Develop and maintain relationships with account principals and purchasing contacts.
- Investigate and resolve customer problems concerning deliveries, credits, products, payables etc.
- Attend monthly meetings held internally.
- Contact customers by phone or email daily to drive sales.
Qualifications
- Minimum requirement of a high school diploma
- A preferred minimum of 2 years of previous food service experience
- Excellent communication, analytical and computation skills
- Professional appearance
- Computer literate and embrace new technology
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass background investigation and drug test
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
