Requirements:
Core functions overview:
- Perform quality routine, preventive, and emergency maintenance and repairs in Sarasota (building and equipment)
- Troubleshoot and repair building and facility equipment
- Ensure safety of work area and equipment
- Assist with grounds maintenance
Experience & Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum five years of multi-faceted property maintenance experience required
Competencies:
- Working knowledge of general building systems
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Effective time management and adaptability in changing environments
- Experience with facilities databases and Outlook
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Work Environment / Physical Expectations:
- Frequent standing, walking, lifting, climbing, kneeling, squatting, and use of maintenance tools
- Ability to lift and move materials and equipment
- Exposure to varying indoor and outdoor environments year-round
