Material Handler (2nd shift)-8% shift differential
Summary:
The Material Handler will be responsible for loading, unloading, kitting, and moving materials into, out of or within facility by performing the following duties:
Essential Duties:
- Pick and assemble kits of fabricated materials
- Operate a forklift for transporting, loading, and unloading materials
- Perform required computer transactions for inventory management & control as required.
- Utilize a tape measure and other types of measuring devices
- Perform part inspection as required
- Accurately execute inventory stock procedures
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of work area
- Work at acceptable productivity levels on a consistent basis without sacrificing quality
- Understand and adhere to Oxbo quality standards
Position Requirements:
- Ability to demonstrate good judgment and decision-making skills
- Work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work in teams both within the department and with other departments.
- Must actively communicate with various departments regarding ongoing process improvements.
While performing the duties of this job, the Material Handler is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
