The Volleyball Coach is responsible for leading and developing the middle school volleyball program while promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, and academic success among student-athletes. The coach will oversee all aspects of the program, including practices, competitions, player development, and communication with parents and school administration.

Organize and conduct practices that promote skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

Develop game strategies and prepare student-athletes for competition.

Supervise student-athletes during practices, games, and team activities.

Ensure compliance with all district, conference, and state athletic rules and regulations.

Maintain accurate records related to team participation, eligibility, and equipment.

Communicate schedules, expectations, and program information with players and parents.

Promote academic achievement and positive behavior among student-athletes.

Coordinate transportation, uniforms, and equipment needs with school administration and athletic staff.

Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that reflects the values of the school and district.

Attend required meetings, trainings, and professional development related to coaching responsibilities.

Position is supplemental and contingent upon annual board approval and student participation.

Compensation will be based on the district-approved supplemental pay schedule.

The season and duties will align with district and state athletic association requirements.
