Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and swiftly
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards across the kitchen, dining area, and food prep stations
- Assist with food safety practices, including proper food handling and storage procedures
- Support bussing duties by clearing tables, cleaning dining areas, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation or food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha or Micros is a plus; training will be provided if needed
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours
- Ability to work quickly in a fast-food or quick service restaurant setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding, and order calculations
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Prior restaurant experience or background in retail or grocery stores is beneficial but not mandatory
