Essential Job Functions
Learn and understand the Murray liquid system for loading, mixing, and unloading all products at the Baldwin chemical facility
Interact with patrons to meet needs as directed by crop specialist
Schedule custom chemical application with assistance from location managers and salesmen
Work closely with marketing managers, location managers, salesmen and secretaries to coordinate preseason deliveries
Work closely with marketing managers, location managers, salesmen and secretaries to insure accurate inventory, customer satisfaction, and product deliveries
Maintain an accurate inventory with minimal product loss
Take necessary steps to ensure that there is no cross contamination between products
Mechanically maintain and safely operate all necessary equipment
Keep building and equipment clean, orderly and professional
Organize and palletize customer orders as needed
Assist in all facets of office and operations at the Baldwin facility
Maintain accurate records
Order chemicals on an as needed basis
Collect and return as many refundable pallets, shuttles and containers as possible
Keep all orders organized and clear so tenders are loaded quickly and efficiently

Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university in agriculture or business, or 2 years related experience and or raining or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical publications, financial reports and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, weight conversions, volume conversions.
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret and extensive variety of technical instructions and mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Physical Demands
Must be able to obtain and maintain all applicable certifications, licenses, and permits including custom applicator/ operator’s license.
Ability to work extended hours and on call as business conditions warrant
Must have and maintain a valid CDL with applicable endorsements and clean driving record.
Prefer an understanding of Gateway FS agronomy and operations
Ability to work in extreme weather conditions (hot, cold, wet, snow, ice, etc.), varying heights, noisy conditions, lift 51-70 lbs, and dust, fumes, chemicals, and electrical hazards with appropriate safety measures
Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
