Position Summary
- The Information Technology (IT) Manager is responsible for all aspects of technology operations across Three Rivers Endodontics. This hands-on role manages the organization's technology infrastructure, cybersecurity, user support, clinical systems, telecommunications, vendor relationships, and strategic technology initiatives.
- The IT Manager serves as the primary technology resource for the organization and works closely with executive leadership, office teams, clinical staff, and external technology vendors to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient technology operations.
Key Responsibilities
User Support & Technology Operations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all technology-related issues and requests.
- Provide end-user support for hardware, software, printers, mobile devices, and office technology.
- Manage the organization's help desk and ticketing processes.
- Support employee onboarding and offboarding, including account provisioning and equipment deployment.
- Develop user guides, training materials, and technology documentation.
Systems Administration
- Administer Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Outlook, and related cloud services.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, licensing, and security settings.
- Maintain workstation, laptop, printer, and mobile device inventories.
- Support Open Dental, imaging systems, and other business-critical applications.
Infrastructure & Telecommunications
- Manage network infrastructure, wireless systems, internet connectivity, and office technology.
- Support and maintain the 3CX phone system and related telecommunications services.
- Coordinate technology needs for office expansions, relocations, and new site openings.
- Ensure systems are properly maintained, updated, and documented.
Cybersecurity & Compliance
- Maintain cybersecurity controls, policies, and best practices.
- Manage endpoint protection, multifactor authentication, email security, and backup systems.
- Monitor for security risks and coordinate remediation efforts.
- Support HIPAA compliance and technology-related regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate cybersecurity awareness training for staff.
Vendor Management
- Serve as the primary liaison with technology vendors, consultants, internet providers, software providers, and managed service partners.
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts, renewals, and service performance.
- Coordinate external support resources when specialized expertise is needed.
Strategic Technology Planning
- Develop recommendations for technology improvements and investments.
- Lead technology projects and system implementations.
- Assist leadership with technology budgeting and planning.
- Evaluate new technologies and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, security, and scalability.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive IT experience.
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments.
- Strong knowledge of networking, cybersecurity, Windows systems, cloud technologies, and user support.
- Ability to independently manage multiple priorities and projects.
- Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel between office locations as needed.
Reporting Relationship
- Reports To: Chief Operating Officer
- This position currently has no direct reports but is responsible for coordinating and managing external technology vendors, consultants, and service providers.
Work Environment
This role includes in-office work with regular travel between practice locations. Responsibilities may involve lifting and setting up computer equipment and responding to occasional urgent or after-hours support needs.
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
