Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated, compassionate, and team-oriented Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our growing outpatient orthopedic practice here in the beautiful Reno/Lake Tahoe region at one of our spacious outpatient clinics. The PTA will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality, evidence-based care to patients with orthopedic, post-operative, sports medicine, and musculoskeletal conditions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Implement physical therapy treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Provide skilled therapeutic interventions including therapeutic exercise, therapeutic activities, neuromuscular re-education, gait and balance training, manual therapy techniques as permitted by Nevada state law and clinic policy, functional training, and patient education.
- Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Accurately document all treatments in the EMR.
- Ensure treatment areas remain clean and safe.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals.
- Participate in staff meetings and continuing education.
Qualifications
Required:
- Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
- Current Nevada PTA license.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Competent in CMS guidelines and documentation.
Preferred:
- Outpatient orthopedic experience.
- Post-operative rehabilitation experience.
- EMR experience.

Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation, and demonstrate exercises.
