We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in welding and fabrication. The Welder will be responsible for performing a variety of welding functions on metal parts, plates, and tubes.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to determine the scope of work and materials required.
- Select the appropriate welding method for the job (MIG, TIG, Stick, etc.)
- Set up and maintain welding equipment, including the power source, feeder, gun, and shielding gas supply.
- Weld metal parts together using various welding processes and equipment.
- Inspect welds to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
- Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on welding equipment.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of welding experience.
- Experience in welding and fabrication.
- Knowledge of welding principles and techniques.
- Familiarity with welding equipment and tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Must be able to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.
- Must have experience welding thin materials.
