What You’ll Do
As a Pharmacy Technician Trainee, you’ll assist in preparing medications and supporting pharmacy operations under a licensed pharmacist’s supervision.
Key responsibilities:
- Accurately fill prescriptions for long-term care facilities
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and MN Board of Pharmacy regulations
- Answer incoming calls in a professional, helpful manner
- Keep records organized and up to date
- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work area
About Our Technician Training Program
All new hires are automatically enrolled in our Minnesota Board of Pharmacy-approved training program. After completion, you’ll receive an official Certificate of Completion—qualifying you to advance as a licensed pharmacy technician.
What You Need to Apply
- At least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Must apply for a Provisional Pharmacy Technician License before starting
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Professionalism in communication and customer interactions
Preferred but not required:
- Previous pharmacy or healthcare experience
- Familiarity with common medications
Shift Schedule & Pay
- Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM
- Pay: $16.00–$18.00 per hour, depending on experience
