Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse operations with energy and precision. In this vital role, you will oversee all aspects of warehouse distribution, inventory control, logistics, and team management to ensure seamless material handling and shipping processes. Duties
- Lead and supervise daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
- Implement process improvements using lean management principles to enhance workflow efficiency and reduce waste.
- Operate and oversee the use of material handling equipment such as forklifts and RF scanners safely and effectively.
- Maintain accurate inventory control through the use of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management systems.
- Coordinate logistics for inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely delivery while adhering to OSHA safety standards.
- Manage team performance through effective communication, training, and team leadership to foster a motivated work environment.
- Oversee compliance with safety regulations related to heavy lifting, materials handling, and warehouse operations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse supervision or management within distribution centers or e-commerce environments.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse distribution processes, inventory control, logistics, and warehouse management systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and inventory management systems.
- Valid forklift certification and experience operating material handling equipment including RF scanners.
- Excellent managerial communication skills with a demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations, lean management practices, and heavy lifting procedures.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
