Job Overview
Small utility/ civil company looking for motivated laborer/pipelayer. People who are willing to work hard and stand out will be rewarded and grow with the company. We perform a variety of projects, and must be willing to jump in and assist wherever needed.
Responsibilities
- Assist excavator checking grade and using a shovel
- Run hydrovac
- Lay ductile and c900 waterline, install fittings, megalugs
- Install conduit and sweeps on dry utility projects
- Perform concrete finishing tasks as needed for pipeline installations
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in pipelaying or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of concrete finishing practices is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail
- Familiarity with pipeline systems and installation methods
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to safety protocols and practices on the job site.
- CDL is a plus
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
