Job Summary
This role supports an active construction and low-voltage operation and is not a desk-only position.
We are seeking a self-motivated, highly organized Warehouse & Operations Coordinator to take ownership of our warehouse, inventory, and material logistics in support of active low-voltage and construction projects.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on structure, process, and accountability — and who wants to grow beyond day-to-day tasks into broader operational responsibility over time. You will work closely with project managers and field technicians to ensure materials are accurately tracked, staged, and ready for field deployment, helping projects run efficiently and on schedule.
This is a hands-on position with a clear opportunity to grow into expanded operations and coordination responsibilities as systems mature and the company continues to scale.
Duties
- Own daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory control, storage, and material staging
- Maintain accurate inventory records for stock items, job-assigned materials, returns, and damaged equipment
- Prepare, stage, and verify job kits for field technicians prior to deployment
- Track material movement using spreadsheets, databases, or inventory management software
- Coordinate closely with project managers to ensure materials are available when needed to support project schedules
- Assist with purchasing, restocking, and vendor coordination
- Manage returns, RMAs, and defective equipment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment
- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse, inventory, and logistics processes as the company grows
Qualifications Required
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel required; Outlook and Word preferred)
- Comfortable learning and using inventory, organization, or logistics software systems
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with field technicians, project managers, and leadership
- Reliable, self-motivated, and accountable for results
Preferred
- Experience supporting construction, low-voltage, electrical, AV, or trade-based operations
- Warehouse, logistics, materials coordination, or operations support experience
- Experience building, organizing, or improving inventory or warehouse systems
- Familiarity with job-based material tracking and staging for field crews
- Forklift experience or certification (not required)
What Will Set You Apart
- Experience taking ownership of processes rather than just following instructions
- Ability to identify inefficiencies and propose practical improvements
- Comfort stepping into increasing responsibility and operational ownership as the role grows
