Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Tumbling, Stunt, and Cheer Coach to inspire and train athletes of all ages and skill levels. In this dynamic role, you will lead classes, teach essential tumbling, stunt, and cheer techniques, and foster a positive environment that promotes growth, safety, and teamwork. Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging tumbling, stunt, and cheerleading classes tailored to various skill levels
- Teach proper technique for tumbling, jumps, and stunts while emphasizing safety protocols
- Monitor athlete progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement
- Ensure all activities adhere to safety standards, including AED operation and first aid/CPR procedures
- Manage behavior and foster a positive environment through effective behavior management strategies
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding athlete development and safety updates
Skills
- Prior experience in tumbling, cheerleading, gymnastics, or stunt coaching with a strong understanding of safety practices
- Knowledge of sports-specific training instruction
- Experience working with children in a coaching or teaching capacity with excellent communication skills
- Certifications in first aid, CPR, AED operation, or child care experience are highly desirable
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques to motivate young athletes effectively
