THE OPPORTUNITY
We are partnering with MDRG (they are the front-facing company, so hires would be representing MDRG) on a retail field study for a major national wireless retailer, and we have immediate openings for friendly professionals who can travel on short notice for well paying ($44/hr) research work.
When I say "research", this is very entry level (more details below). We just need people who can be friendly and follow simple directions, while representing MDRG and our wireless carrier client well. We are paying $44/hour, with all travel expenses reimbursed. Hires for the job pick the city, and since we send people in pairs to the same city and same stores, they can bring a partner to do the job with (who of course will be paid at the same rate and will have all of their expenses reimbursed as well). This can be a friend, a sibling, whoever, as long as they are also appropriate for the position. If they don't have a partner in mind, let us know and we can help pair them up.
PAY & AVAILABILITY
- $44/hour, 8-hour days(about $352/day before taxes)
-The project runs from August 6th-23rd, and while we'd love to find people who can commit to the whole run time, we are also open to people who can only do 1 or 2 weeks. Week 1 is August 6th-9th, Week 2 is August 11th-16th, Week 3 is August 18th-23rd.
- There is a 1-hour lunch break, plus a 10-minute break every 1–2 hours (more frequent during slower traffic periods)

THE ROLES
Every pair fills both — you decide who takes which:
1. Observer: quietly and objectively tallies store foot traffic, no customer interaction required. Good fit if you're detail-oriented and comfortable with quiet, focused work.
2. Intercept: approaches customers after their visit to invite them to a 5-minute survey for a $10 e-gift card. Good fit if you're outgoing and comfortable striking up conversations with strangers.
Business casual dress for both roles.
WHAT'S COVERED
Round-trip airfare, hotel, meals, transportation — no cost to the hire. Want to extend the stay a few extra days on their own time? The flight's covered either way!
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- 18+
- Proof of ability to represent a company professionally, and proof of a fit for filling either to Observer or Intercept role (past work, freelance, or volunteer experience)
- A Real ID or valid passport if flying
