Job Summary
ELCORI Delivery Service is a leading last-mile logistics company serving communities across Upstate New York. We are seeking reliable, motivated, and professional drivers to join our growing team as 1099 independent contractors. Applicants should have access to their own SUV, minivan, or cargo van to be considered for this opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Safely pick up and deliver packages to the front doors of our customers
- Meet daily metric and performance goals
- Plan efficient delivery routes to ensure timely drop-offs
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
- Ensure packages are handled with care and delivered in excellent condition
- Communicate professionally with customers and dispatch regarding delivery updates
- Perform basic vehicle inspections and report any issues promptly
- Adhere to all safety policies, traffic laws, and company standards
- Provide outstanding customer service and represent ELCORI professionally at all times
Requirements
- Valid <PERSON> driver’s license
- Prior experience as a delivery driver or courier preferred, especially with route driving and heavy lifting
- Ability to lift occasional heavy packages safely and efficiently during load & unload processes
- Strong customer service skills with a professional demeanor
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to driving and material handling
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and navigate using GPS
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks such as moving items, heavy lifting, and prolonged standing or walking
