SB & Down is seeking experienced CDL Class A and Class B Dump Truck Drivers to join our growing team on the south side of Columbus. We work with some of the largest and most respected paving contractors in Central Ohio and are looking for dependable drivers who take pride in safety, professionalism, and teamwork.
If you have experience hauling asphalt and RCC and enjoy working with modern equipment, we'd like to hear from you.
What You'll Do
- Haul hot mix asphalt, RCC and aggregates throughout Central Ohio
- Safely operate automatic dump trucks
- Position trucks for paving operations and be pushed by an asphalt paver
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain a clean driving record and follow all DOT regulations
- Work closely with dispatchers, paving crews, and project supervisors
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or Class B license
- Minimum 1 year of asphalt hauling experience
- Must have experience being pushed by an asphalt paver
- Safe driving record
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work overtime and seasonal hours as needed
Pay & Benefits
- $26.00–$30.00 per hour, based on experience
