Hotel Maintenance Duties:
- Routine Inspections
- Check HVAC systems (heating, ventilation, air conditioning)
- Inspect plumbing for leaks or clogs
- Test electrical outlets, lights, and appliances
- Monitor elevators and escalators for safe operation
- Inspect fire alarms, extinguishers, and emergency systems
- Repairs
- Fix leaking faucets, toilets, or pipes
- Repair broken lights, switches, or electrical panels
- Patch and paint walls, ceilings, or furniture
- Replace damaged carpets or tiles
- Repair or maintain HVAC units and boilers
- Preventive Maintenance
- Change air filters regularly
- Lubricate moving parts like door hinges and locks
- Clean and service kitchen equipment
- Maintain swimming pools and spa facilities
- Check roof, gutters, and drainage systems
- Safety and Compliance
- Ensure fire exits and emergency lighting are operational
- Maintain security cameras and alarm systems
- Keep compliance with local safety regulations and health codes
- Groundskeeping Support
- Coordinate with landscaping for garden or lawn upkeep
- Maintain parking lots, pathways, and exterior lighting
- Guest Requests
- Respond promptly to guest-reported maintenance issues in rooms or public areas
- Provide quick fixes or escalate as necessary
- Record Keeping
- Log maintenance activities and repairs
- Schedule and document regular inspections and preventive maintenance
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
