Position Overview:
The Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the implementation and day-to-day delivery of Give Back programming within their assigned geographic area. This role works closely with regional and national leadership, students, schools, colleges, and community organizations to support student recruitment, program delivery, coaching coordination, and community partnership development. The Program Manager plays a key role in ensuring students receive consistent coaching, academic support, engagement opportunities, and access to resources that promote long-term educational and personal success. This role requires travel regularly throughout the following counties: Lenoir, Jones, Duplin, Onslow, Pender, New Hanover, Brunswick, Columbus, and Bladen. Candidates should be prepared to coach a small cohort of students along with their other responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
Program Delivery & Service Coordination:
· Oversee implementation and coordination of Give Back programming across multiple geographic areas.
· Monitor program implementation to ensure students receive consistent coaching, mentoring, academic support, and engagement services.
· Support staff in ensuring students complete Student Action Plans (SAPs) and make measurable progress toward program goals.
· Coordinate with cross-functional staff to ensure students remain on track with program requirements, timelines, and engagement expectations.
· Support staff in utilizing workshops, curriculum, Learning Management Systems, and student resources effectively.
· Identify opportunities to strengthen program quality, operational consistency, and student outcomes across the region.
Student Coaching, Mentorship & Case Management:
· Ensure all students are connected to consistent coaching and support services throughout their participation in Give Back programming.
· Support Coaches and Program Staff in maintaining strong advocate-based relationships with students and caregivers.
· Monitor coaching effectiveness, workloads, and student engagement to ensure high-quality student support.
· Assist teams in identifying barriers impacting student success and implementing interventions or referrals where needed.
· Support staff in guiding students through FAFSA completion, college applications, postsecondary planning, and career readiness processes.
· Promote coaching practices that strengthen student persistence, engagement, and long-term success outcomes.
Student Engagement & Community Building:
· Support development and implementation of student events, workshops, gatherings, and recognition initiatives.
· Foster student participation and connection through regional and national programming opportunities.
· Collaborate with staff to create supportive environments that strengthen student belonging and retention.
· Promote opportunities that connect students with mentorship, leadership development, workforce exposure, and community resources.
Partnership Development and External Relations:
· Build and maintain relationships with schools, colleges, youth organizations, employers, and community partners throughout the region.
· Represent Give Back at community meetings, outreach events, school functions, and partnership engagements.
· Support development of referral pipelines and recruiting partnerships that increase student enrollment and program participation.
· Collaborate with partner colleges to strengthen student support, enrollment success, persistence, and retention outcomes.
· Assist in resolving partnership challenges and maintaining strong collaborative relationships across external stakeholders.
· Support regional outreach and partnership development efforts that advance organizational growth and student opportunities.
Data Collection, Systems & Performance Reporting:
· Ensure accurate collection, documentation, and maintenance of student and program data.
· Monitor performance metrics related to recruiting, student engagement, coaching activity, and program delivery.
· Support staff in maintaining accurate records and progress tracking within Salesforce and organizational systems.
· Collaborate with leadership to evaluate coach effectiveness, program performance, and operational needs.
· Utilize data insights and reporting to support decision-making, accountability, and continuous improvement efforts.
· Ensure expense reports, travel requests, and operational documentation are maintained accurately and within organizational guidelines.
Administrative & Operational Support:
· Maintain operational records, schedules, contact databases, and communication systems.
· Oversee and Manage other NC Program Staff (currently two).
· Provide administrative support related to meetings, scheduling, travel coordination, reporting, and event logistics.
· Conduct regional staff meetings and program review meetings.
· Ensure operational processes, documentation, and reporting activities are completed accurately and on time.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in social work, education, counseling, nonprofit management, communications, or a related field - preferred.
· An equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience in youth development, student support, education, counseling, nonprofit programming, or community-based services may be considered in lieu of formal degree requirements.
· Minimum of 3 years of professional experience working with students, youth, or community-based programs preferred.
· Experience working with underserved student populations, schools, colleges, or youth-serving organizations - strongly preferred.

· Experience utilizing Salesforce or similar CRM/data management systems preferred.
· Ability to maintain accurate student records, program documentation, and reporting systems effectively.
Compliance & Requirements
· Ability to attend student events, meetings, trainings, and organizational activities outside standard business hours as needed.
· Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to FERPA and organizational policies.
· Ability to pass all required background and child safety checks.
· Must possess reliable means of transportation, auto insurance, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel throughout the state as needed.
Compensation and Benefits:
This is a full-time, salary (exempt) position with a salary of $65,000 – 75,000 per year based on comparable experience.
