Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and identify their wireless needs through engaging conversations.
- Demonstrate product features and perform product demos to highlight benefits and functionalities.
- Assist customers with retail sales transactions using POS (Point of Sale) systems, ensuring accurate cash register operations and cash handling.
- Upsell additional products, accessories, or service plans to maximize customer value and store sales.
- Manage stock levels by stocking shelves, merchandising displays, and organizing inventory efficiently.
- Handle retail store product knowledge confidently to answer customer questions about devices, plans, and services.
- Maintain excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or via digital communication channels.
- Support cashiering duties including cash drawer handling, retail math calculations, and processing retail sales transactions accurately.
- Conduct product demos to educate customers on new technology features and benefits.
- Assist in supervising team members when needed, contributing to a collaborative store environment focused on achieving sales goals.
Requirements
- Prior experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers in a bilingual setting is highly valued.
- Basic math skills for handling cash register operations, retail math calculations, and cash handling procedures.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations is advantageous.
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to create positive shopping experiences.
- Demonstrated ability to upsell products and services effectively while maintaining customer trust.
- Experience with merchandising, stocking, and inventory management enhances your fit for this role.
