Position Summary
As a Physician Assistant, you'll provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment for patients experiencing chronic pain, musculoskeletal injuries, and functional limitations. You'll work alongside an experienced physician and multidisciplinary team while expanding your clinical and procedural expertise.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic pain conditions
- Develop individualized treatment plans using evidence-based, multimodal approaches beyond medication alone
- Prescribe medications, including controlled substances, in accordance with state and federal regulations
- Perform or assist with in-office procedures, including:
- Trigger point injections
- Medication infusions
- Kinesio taping
- Bracing and orthotic management
- Collaborate closely with physicians and clinical staff to optimize patient outcomes
- Educate patients on treatment options, recovery, and wellness strategies
- Participate in ongoing clinical education and procedural training
Qualifications
- Current Washington State Physician Assistant (PA-C) license
- Active DEA license or eligibility to obtain one
- Experience in pain management, orthopedics, primary care, sports medicine, or urgent care is preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
- Desire to learn and grow in a collaborative practice
