Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for hotel guests. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Room Cleaning & Maintenance:
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, changing linens, vacuuming, and dusting.
- Replenish amenities such as toiletries, towels, and beverages.
- Ensure all room furniture, fixtures, and appliances are in good condition and report any damages or maintenance needs.
Public Areas & Common Spaces:
- Maintain cleanliness in hallways, lobbies, and other public areas.
- Ensure restrooms and shared spaces are stocked with necessary supplies.
Laundry & Linen Management:
- Collect, sort, and distribute linens and towels for washing.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of hotel linens and supplies.
Compliance & Safety:
- Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
- Report lost and found items to the appropriate department.
- Adhere to hotel policies and procedures regarding guest privacy and security.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical stamina to handle lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Positive attitude and a commitment to guest satisfaction.
