JOB This is a part time, seasonal position with the City’s Parks & Recreation Department. An individual in this position will teach and lead campers, usually children and teenagers, in recreational activities such as swimming and group games, as well as supervise daily life at the camp. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
- Ensures the safety, well-being and personal growth of campers

Plans, coordinates and facilitates a wide variety of activities for campers

Supervises and interacts with children while maintaining a safe and fun environment

Explains activities to a group of 30 or more children

Guides group activities with the children

Cleans the facility and play areas after each activity

Positive role model for campers and their family

Leads children on planned field trips and maintains professionalism
