Responsibilities
- Assess and evaluate the functional and developmental abilities of pediatric patients.
- Develop personalized care plans incorporating goals for motor skills, sensory processing, activities of daily living (ADLs), and social participation.
- Implement evidence-based interventions to improve fine motor skills, coordination, sensory integration, and adaptive behaviors.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (PT, SLP, educators, and medical staff) for comprehensive care and seamless discharge planning.
- Educate families and caregivers on home programs and strategies to support ongoing development outside the clinic.
- Manage clinical documentation meticulously, tracking progress and adjusting treatment plans to optimize patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure or certification (or eligibility to obtain).
- Proven experience working with pediatric populations.
- Excellent communication skills to engage children and effectively educate families.
Pay: $42.00 - $44.00 per hour
