Candidates must be able to work 11AM-7:30PM for at least two shifts Monday through Friday. Availability on Tuesdays and Thursdays is required.
Join our vibrant team as a part-time Server/Cashier, working 2-3 evenings per week in a lively, fast-paced restaurant environment. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service, including taking orders and serving food and beverages with enthusiasm.
- Process all sales transactions accurately using POS systems, including cash handling and credit card processing.
- Upsell menu items, including specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries promptly, resolving issues professionally, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Support beverage service by preparing coffees and specialty drinks with knowledge of drink recipes and presentation standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service flow
Experience
- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred;
- Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous.
- Knowledge of coffee and expresso based coffee drinks is preferred;
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently.
- Experience in food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations is essential.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and handling cash confidently.
