Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our Before and After School Program Staff. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a safe and engaging environment for students from preschool to middle school. Ideal candidates will have a passion for working with youth and a strong commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage with students during various activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Plan and implement educational programs.
- Provide behavior management support to help students develop social skills and emotional regulation.
- Assist in organizing activities and events.
- Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other staff members regarding student progress and needs.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years old.
- Must get an IdentoGO background check done upon hire.
- Must have current First Aid/CPR/AED Certification (or will obtain it within 30 days of hire).
- Willingness to work both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
Experience
Candidates should possess experience or skills in one or more of the following areas:
- Babysitting or daycare experience working with children.
- Sports coaching or physical education background.
- Tutoring or academic support experience with students.
- Previous involvement in camp settings or youth programs.
- Strong behavior management skills to effectively support diverse student needs.
