Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Director of Nursing to lead our healthcare team with passion, expertise, and strategic insight. Duties
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance nursing services, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry standards, and nursing schedule
- Oversee budgeting processes for nursing departments, optimizing resource allocation and cost management
- Manage and mentor nursing staff, including recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and personnel management in accordance with best practices
- Lead instructional initiatives to promote continuous education, professional development, and adherence to clinical protocols among nursing teams
- Collaborate with hospital or healthcare administration to establish policies that improve patient outcomes and operational workflows
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and safety protocols across all nursing activities
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, leadership development, and high morale among staff members
Qualifications
- Proven experience in education administration or school administrative director roles is highly desirable
- Extensive management experience within healthcare or educational settings, demonstrating strong leadership capabilities
- Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, budgeting, personnel management, and instructional leadership
- Background in university-level teaching or higher education environments adds valuable perspective
- Strong knowledge of education administration principles combined with personnel management skills in educational contexts
- Exceptional leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and drive organizational success
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree or higher in Nursing or Healthcare Administration preferred
- Valid nursing license in accordance with state or national regulations
